Minot Ink

Look what Cam did. That's going to cost me thousands in laser removal fees. He is so grounded.

Cutie Pie

Shylah came to visit the other day. Oh, and Uncle Adam, Aunt Michelle, Grammy, and Grampa, too. But we all know it's all about the baby.

Ya Gotta Have Friends

The boys are just as happy as the girls, they just can't show it because they're 13.

Big and Little

I love when we get similar pictures, several years apart. The first one is the kids hiking during our vacation to Rangeley this summer. The second one is from Bradbury Mountain. I think it's from summer 2000 or so.

Goodbye to a friend

We attended a funeral for a friend today who died unexpectedly on Saturday. Don was Chris's buddy, mentor, and one-time work partner. He was the guy who interviewed Chris when he was a senior at UMaine and got him hired with Upjohn. He mentored Chris through his first few years, and they worked together as partners sharing a territory at one time. I remember about a year ago, Chris and I were talking about our lives and careers and he remarked that the happiest time in his career was when he was partnered with Don. Don retired a few years ago, and he and Chris continued to keep in touch, with Don always lending an ear and giving Chris good advice and always, always a good laugh.

"Do not let your grief be measured by his worth, for then your sorrow has no end."--Shakespeare

According to the program for today's service, this quote was found hand-written on the back of a business card in Don's office. Don was a man of great worth and will be terribly missed.

First Day of School

Waiting for the bus. Delaney's first day of 5th grade, Cam's first day of 8th grade.
