I'm trying to figure out how to get photos bigger on the blog. How is this? Too big? Just big enough?
She's looking a little snirty (snow/dirt) after a month or so, one arm is broken, and her mica necklace is mostly gone. She still has her ski eyelashes, though:
If you'd like to read more about her:
The real buckets are prettier than the Gatorade bottles you sometimes see collecting sap.
These next two, I was bummed I forgot to fix my color balance on my camera and they're very yellowy in color.
Syrup on snow. You really need the spoon in the shot for perspective, otherwise it just looks like yellow snow. Yuck.
I did like the colors in this one, but it's blurry.
You can click on this to make it bigger if you want to know how to run a sugar shack:

The egg hunt:
A turkey we saw later:
A golden retriever puppy we wanted to take home. She was at one of the sugar shacks we visited. It was Maine Maple Sunday in addition to being Easter.
And even made some (these eggs were not dyed yet, I did the dyeing in Photoshop):
And speaking of not being a small woman, since I'm an inconsistent Weight Watcher who is currently on the wagon again, I bought this cute little bracelet to keep track of points. You set your stop point and then move the "skinny b*&%h" around as you eat points until you come to the stop point. Clever, huh?
And Delaney had a fantastic week. She attended a Jonas Brothers concert with Marissa. Here they are with the sign they made:
Here's a funny she said. We were driving home last night, listening to the Jonas Brothers, when she said, "A lot of their songs are about breakups. Who would ever break up with them?" Remember those crushes? I was an Andy Gibb fan myself. There's no accounting for taste.
