Uncle John and Dad...

...Dad and Uncle John. Non-Cronins can have fun figuring out which one is which. Chris called this "Mike and John holding court." I think this might be where they're telling the story of how Uncle John was standing on Aunt Terry's oxygen line while she was in the hospital dying.

A family visit

Dad and Eleanor have had a lot of company at their condo on the beach. Grandchildren Hillary and Amelia spent the night Friday, and then on Saturday a couple of my cousins came, as did Jim, Terry, & Joe. And we showed up too. Jim and his family weren't there yet when I got the camera out for a group shot.

Happy Father's Day

I think I'm the one who received a present for Father's Day. I have Dad and Eleanor here in Maine for a whole month. We had a nice party on Saturday at their good friends Pat & Joe's place on the beach and celebrated Dad and Eleanor's 25th anniversary.I couldn't decide whether to post the color or b/w version, so here are both.

Cam had an academic awards ceremony last night and got awards for Excellence in Math, Excellence in Science, Excellence in Wellness, and the Renaissance Award in Humanities (Excellence in English and Social Studies). He also received the coach's award for his JV baseball team. I'm so darn proud of my kids I can't even tell you.

Here's wishing Dad and Eleanor a safe and uneventful trip north today. They arrive from Florida to stay for a whole month, and we can't wait to see them!!!

A family portrait of sorts

It's hard to get the whole family together for a photo. Here we are as our Wii Fit Miis. (That's Marissa with her back turned. She has a profile on our game too.) This game is hilarious if your self esteem can take it. The first thing it does is measure your BMI and then your virtual you blows up like a balloon if you're a fatty. It's skewed for kids, though, so Cam looks like a Mr. Tubbolardy too.
