I took an unexpected trip to Florida this past week. Dad had a heart attack on Saturday, and I flew down early Sunday morning. Thankfully, it was mild and he came home on Monday, so he and Eleanor and I ended up having a nice week hanging out together. The weather was perfect, especially since it was Arctic here at home. Even better than the weather was the company of Dad and Eleanor. It makes for a really nice vacation when you're with people who think you're great and are happy to have you around. I got home on Friday in time to see Cam in his first track meet. He did well and placed third in shotput (out of about 20) and third of six in the 300. I don't have any pictures because I only had my small camera and left it in the car, but I'll post some from next week's meet.
