Christmas

I haven't had a chance to post any Christmas pictures yet. Our satellite connection has been wacky. And I've been busy. Really, really, really, really busy. So busy.

Really busy. I'm exhausted.

So busy.

The maiden voyage

Talking about Cam getting the snowmobile stuck yesterday reminded me that I never posted these photos of him on the maiden voyage during our first snowstorm:
What's wrong with this picture: where are his darn gloves? Oh, and the little matter of a helmet. Don't worry, Nana, it has since been purchased and must be worn at all times while he operates the machinery.

"I passed through the seven levels of the Candy Cane forest, through the sea of swirly twirly gum drops..."

"...and then I walked through the Lincoln tunnel." Two points to whoever names that quote.

We had a snow day yesterday, so we made a gingerbread house. Here's Cam mixing some icing. What a good sport:
Delaney has a turn with the Santa chef outfit and shows off the finished house:

Later, Cam got the snowmobile stuck in a ditch and we spent a good long time digging it out. That was not the fun part of our day.

Our Christmas tree

I've started to play around with digital scrapbooking. Here's a page I made of our tree and some of our ornaments:

This time I did it on purpose

I did the blurry thing on purpose this time, and I think it looks cool:

Delaney's tree

My own decorating is traditional red and green with white lights, but this year I bought Delaney a tree for her her room. It's white with colored lights and turquoise, blue, and purple ornaments. It's fun and makes cool pictures.

This is what happens when you don't screw your camera onto the tripod tight enough and the camera slowly moves as you're taking the picture. Ooops. On second thought, let's pretend I did it on purpose. It does look kind of cool, doesn't it?

Another Christmas photo

I gave this one to my friend Beth for her birthday last week.

It's the most wonderful time of the year

Some of my Christmas photos:

A little two-footer I have in my family room. I was practicing getting the starburst effect on my lights. I think I did pretty well.
